Help a Community Advocate Stay and Serve

A close friend of mine—an incredibly dedicated mother and licensed health professional—is at a critical crossroads. She's long been a quiet force behind countless community efforts: supporting youth, advocating for mental wellness, organizing outreach events, and lifting up those around her with compassion and consistency.

Now, after following every step of the legal immigration process and investing thousands of dollars to secure her and her children’s future, she’s been hit with an unexpected $500 fee and tight deadline to submit more paperwork. The timing couldn't be worse—she now faces a heartbreaking decision between paying this fee or paying rent.

What’s worse: if she misses this immigration deadline, she could face eviction and possible deportation—making rent irrelevant.

She’s someone who gives without asking—constantly pouring into others through her work and presence. She’s a voice of hope and representation in a community where it’s sorely needed.

Right now, she needs just a little help back. A donation of any size can help her cross this hurdle and stay in the country she and her children call home—where she can continue the work she’s clearly meant to do.
