Build a house for a poor family in Bangladesh

Brother Zelu Miah lives in Bangladesh (Sylhet) with his wife and their 3 young children’s. Hurriya met the family in March 2023 and saw the condition of their current house, which is in a very bad state and no family should be living in that condition. Their house is made of soil and tin, which is not sufficient to keep out the rain especially during the monsoon season.

Brother Zelu Miah is the only bread winner in the house, he has no formal education, which means he works as a laborer, earning anything between £3 to £4 per day, which is not guaranteed every day.

Hurriya has made a pledge to build them a new house in October 2025 Inshallah. The house will be constructed with bricks and tin roof. The house will consist of 2 bedrooms, family bathroom and a kitchen

The cost to complete this project will be approximately cost £3,000
