This fundraiser is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Rick Merluzzi, who passed away this year. Rick was the founder of Friends and Family Against Prostate Cancer, an organization he created out of deep care, determination, and a commitment to helping others affected by prostate cancer.

Rick believed in the power of community, education, and support. Through Friends and Family Against Prostate Cancer, he worked to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and support individuals and families facing this disease.

Beyond his advocacy work, Rick was also widely known and deeply respected within the AEC community. He built strong relationships, mentored others, and left a lasting impression through his professionalism, generosity, and integrity. Many in the AEC community knew Rick not just as a colleague, but as a friend.

This fundraiser invites members of the AEC to come together in his memory. All donations will help continue the mission Rick started and ensure his passion for advocacy and support lives on. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Sharing this page is another meaningful way to honor Rick’s life and legacy.
