Honoring Jay Earhart: Continuing his Legacy

Hey Everyone,

Back in November, we lost Jay Earhart, who was my best friend for more than half of my life. Jay was an extraordinary person - a beautiful, complicated, and intelligent soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. As we navigate life without him, we want to honor his memory and celebrate the incredible person he was.

In Jay's honor, we have created this GoFundMe campaign and will be hosting a benefit in-person on June 8th, 2024 at Benny's Tavern in Colonial Heights starting at 6 pm. Proceeds from both this and the in-person benefit will be donated in his honor to Side by Side, an organization dedicated to creating supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish.

Why Side by Side?

Side by Side's mission was close to Jay's heart. This organization works tirelessly to provide support, resources, and a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth. By supporting Side by Side, we are continuing Jay's legacy of love, acceptance, and support for others.
