With broken hearts, we are still trying to find our footing after losing Jessica. The weight of her absence is something we are carrying day by day.
From the moment she went missing, our family searched tirelessly. We organized search parties, printed hundreds of flyers, walked neighborhoods for hours, and reached out to anyone who might have seen her. We held onto hope with everything we had. The love and support from our community carried us through those days.
As we move forward, we are still taking time to figure out what is best for Jessica and our family in terms of arrangements. Whether it is a service, cremation, or burial, we want to make decisions with care, love, and respect for her.
Jessica loved her car. She took care of it, drove it proudly, and it reflected her independence and spirit. So many moments of her life are tied to it — conversations, laughter, late drives, everyday routines that now mean everything to us.
Keeping her car in our family feels like keeping a part of her close. It’s something tangible that holds memories, and right now, memories are what we hold onto the most.
We continue to lean on our faith, each other, and the overwhelming support from everyone around us. Thank you for standing with our family, for your prayers, and for helping us honor Jessica’s life and the love she brought into ours
