Hi, My name is Marcos Msiska. I was born and grew up in the southern part of Africa in a country known as Malawi. I have set up a Community development initiative project in my hometown, Hewe, in the Northern part of Malawi. My main goal is to work with the youth by promoting soccer, education, environmental protection, and plastic pollution reduction. There is no recycling center in my hometown. I was astonished to see plastic bags scattered everywhere and thought to do something. I set up a project where kids will collect plastic bags and make soccer balls out of the plastic bags, which we will use the balls for the tournament.
I am an avid soccer supporter and want to be at the forefront of developing soccer from the grassroots level. In Hewe, soccer is the only sport; children make tiny soccer balls out of plastic bags, which shows that they're passionate about the sport even though they don't have the actual types of equipment for the game. Soccer is what gives kids something healthy to do and keeps the children away from starting to drink alcohol at an early age. I would love it if you could join hands in bolstering this vision of bringing a continuous soccer league for the kids (boys and girls) with the long-term goal of participating in national competitions. Join me in supporting the project and making a lasting impact on our community. Your contribution will help us provide a safe and nurturing environment for young athletes to develop skills, foster teamwork, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Together, we can empower the next generation of soccer stars and create a stronger, more vibrant community. Please donate today and be a part of our winning team!
Here is the breakdown cost
Girls and boys, Soccer $ 400, mainly targeted middle school students.
Chikwati tournament, U14 boys and girls $400. They use balls made from plastic bags to recycle and reduce plastic pollution.
Education: $400. For those who don't play soccer, we do a spelling bee, math, and science competition
All donations are used to buy school supplies as prizes for the winning teams. This project serves 6800 school students, and 100% of your donation goes toward the project.
