Our mum’s cancer journey

Here is my beautiful mum just before she received her ‘palliative’ chemotherapy, after what has felt the longest battle with cancer - unfortunately we found out last week that it is no longer curable.

Mum has been battling a horrendous type of cancer that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but she has done this with the greatest strength and bravery. In reality, this has all happened quite quickly.

For those who know us properly, myself and mum have been raising funds and awareness for cancer long before it impacted us. I now know the horrors this disease really brings.

Mum has many wishes; the first being she would like to spend some time away with her children and granddaughter, as would we with mum. Away from the madness. And away from this nightmare. For as soon as we are able to.

Please help us spend some quality time with mum and help her escape the reality of this horrible disease, without worrying about the financial impact.

We want to do our best to let her continue to live her life to the fullest, as she has done so far, and as she very much deserves to going forward. Doing what she wants to do ❤️

The funds raised will be used to make memories that we will hold close to our hearts…as we know Cancer does not have time on its side.
