Since opening our doors in 2023, Stable Minds has supported more than 2,000 people in our community with free, trauma-informed mental health care. From our welcoming drop-in hub to one-to-one therapy, we have been here for anyone who needed us. No waiting lists, no thresholds, no judgement.

We are proud to have some amazing funders who believe in our projects. But the truth is, we have never received core funding – the support that covers the day-to-day running of our safe spaces. Without this, it is becoming harder and harder to keep going.

Because we are based in an affluent area, our postcode often counts against us when applying for grants. Even though hidden need is high and demand for our services has never been greater, securing core support is feeling almost impossible.

Right now, we are facing one of our biggest challenges. Our waiting list is longer than we ever planned for. Every single day in the UK, 19 people lose their life to suicide. We know the system is broken, and that is why Stable Minds was created in the first place.

We don’t want to close our doors. We don’t want to turn people away. To keep going, we need you.
