Thanks for your time.
My 80-year-old father is a wonderful man, veteran, caregiver and now needs our help, he's leaving his home of 30 years. Because he was in a reverse mortgage and other issues, he didn't make a dollar from the home sale. It wasn't even his choice. He was forced to leave the property.
(Dad joins the Navy at 18)
We decided to have an estate sale, and it helped, but unfortunately, it didn't bring in very much.
So, as we face new uncertainty, he will move in with my brother until I can set something up more stable. He is a wonderful man, a veteran, and a caregiver who spent years focused on his wife, mother-in-law, and children. He spent years taking care of my paralyzed grandmother, including taking her to the bathroom three times a day. And that was his mother-in-law!
Times are tough, and I currently don't have enough resources to take care of him and myself. He is a disabled veteran, and I am a permanently disabled guy really trying to work.
The last year, I have spent significant time and resources trying to help and support my dad. While I also am trying to keep myself above water and working when I can. But I honestly need to ask humbly for some help. I'm sorry to ask.
The money raised will be held by me, Joshua, and used for the storage rental, dumpster rental, transportation costs for Dad, food, medicine, and rent. The goal is to raise enough that I can stop having panic attacks every day and can focus on actually helping him for a while. This money would help me set up the change and transition so it's permanent and not stressful.
I am looking for a job, but I can't work for a few more weeks as I help Dad. My dad is a great man who is a veteran and helped so many. I've tried to always be kind, help others, and do my best. I'm sorry to ask, but the Odoms could use your help. If you could consider a $5 donation, it could really help. I can no longer try and do this without asking for help. Thank you sincerely for reading.

Tom's Son
Thank you sincerely.
Please note, I make just enough with my disability to pay my own rent. This money is not for Josh's rent or expenses it's going to support Tom but with his age it's safer for me to hold the funds and use them as he needs them. I really would love to be able to take care of all this on my own, but I am dealing with health problems myself and working full-time is very hard for me.
