Help Us Get to Houston!

Meet a stellar group of girls who are determined, driven, perseverant, independent and committed to community service. Once a month these girls engage in acts of service and scholarship that lead them to prepare food for the needy, events of intellectual enrichment and college readiness tours. 52% of our school population is female , 52% are Latino; 36% are black; 6% identify as Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, or other; and 6% are white. 75% of our students are at or below the poverty line. 50% come from homes where English is not the primary language and 21% have documented learning disabilities.

Despite all obstacles, these girls represent the indomitable spirit of girlhood and girl power and give back relentlessly to their community with the ultimate goal of impacting change in the world one act of service at a time. With injustice and need abounding, these girls are on a warpath to be the change they wish to see in the world.
