Update: 8/30/2025

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an important update on our story. I’ve recently had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life, and I filed a protective order against my husband to protect myself and my children. He continues to choose to be unmedicated despite multiple attempts of trying to help him with his bipolar disorder. While this decision has been painful, it was necessary for our well-being. I am now trying to rebuild our lives from scratch emotionally, physically, and financially.

I’m the sole caretaker of my 4 kids and doing everything I can to provide them with a safe, stable environment. But starting over is overwhelming, especially when you're healing from trauma, seeking therapy for yourself and your children, and trying to find a job and secure stable housing all at once. I am not receiving any child support.

I’m currently at risk of eviction, and without immediate help, I don’t know how we’ll make it through the next month. The financial gap is real and urgent. Every dollar raised will go toward:

* Emergency rent assistance to avoid eviction *Therapy and counseling for myself and my children *Childcare costs while I search for work

*Basic living expenses like food, clothing, diapers and transportation
