Help Save American Legion Indian River Post 22's Building

Donation protected
My name is Cindi Helm, and I am the Canteen Manager at American Legion Indian River Post 22 in Cocoa, Florida.

We are in critical need of our community's help. Our building, which is extremely old, has a termite issue that requires our immediate attention and that will take a lot of money that we currently do not have on hand.

Our building is paid for, and it would cost 20 times the amount we need to rebuild or to purchase another building.

We have over 500 members; however, our constituency is not in a financial position to cover the amount needed to eliminate the termites and to restore our building to good standing.

We are asking for help from anyone and everyone who is in a position to help us and the U.S. Veterans that we support here at Post 22.

There is no amount too small. We are hosting a building fundraiser on Saturday, October 11, all day, as well as a membership drive. We will have a motorcycle run, food, and live music.

We are ever so grateful for the support we have already received from Island Cremations in Merritt Island, Social Distance Bar, Diamondback Guns, Coastal Steel, Pinto’s Lounge, and other local businesses.

Thank you in advance for your support!
