Help Ramses become an American citizen

My name is Ramses Alarcon.  I have lived in Minneapolis for 17 years.  This is my home.  I love my community, and I can't imagine my life without everyone here. 

Now I may be deported.  I have been working to pay for immigration and legal fees, but the costs are very high.  Every 10 years I have to pay to renew my Permanent Resident Card.  Now I'm facing the same situation and my card expires in April.  I want to become a citizen.  I am a resident of this country and I want to stop living in fear of deportation.  This is my home and I want to stay here.

The legal fees cost $1,500 and the immigration application fees cost $1,000.

I am making new artwork to fundraise for these fees and hosting a fundraiser at Du Nord Distillery on Friday March 6 from 7pm to midnight.  Everyone that makes a donation will receive a signed print at the event.  We will come together to enjoy art, music, and community.
