A dear friend of mine with two children has had a rough couple of years and needs a little help to ensure she and her kids keep a roof over their heads this summer. As everyone in the DC area knows, life is expensive in our nation's capital!
I've known my friend for years and will assert that not only is she is a hardworking and industrious, she also doesn't accept money she feels she hasn't earned... So I had to twist her arm into letting me offer to create a GoFundMe for her. (She's been searching for a job after being let go of her last one - so is also open to help on that front!)
