Helping Us Care for Our Rescued Donkeys
Donation protected
My name is Joanna Szulc and my friend recently adopted two donkeys, Matylda (pregnant) and Tobias, from a local animal rescue. We are reaching out to ask for your help in providing the best possible care for our new four-legged friends.
The Costs of Caring for Donkeys
Adopting the donkeys was just the first step. Caring for them requires a significant financial commitment. Here are some of the monthly expenses we incur:
Hay and feed: $200
Farrier (hoof trimming): $50
Veterinary care: $100
Shelter maintenance and repairs: $75
That's over $400 per month just to keep our donkeys happy and healthy! And that doesn't include unexpected medical bills or other costs.
How You Can Help
We are asking for donations to help us cover the costs of caring for Matylda and Tobias. Any amount you can give, from $5 to $500, will make a difference. Your donation will go directly towards food, veterinary care, shelter upkeep and other necessities for our beloved donkeys.
Why Donate?
Donkeys are intelligent, social animals that make wonderful companions. By supporting our adoption, you'll be helping to give Matylda and Tobi the care and attention they deserve. You'll also be supporting the important work of Serenity Aguatavar in rescuing and rehoming equines in need.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. With your help, we can ensure that our donkeys live happy, healthy lives. Please consider making a donation today to support our adopted donkeys.
