Help the Throckmorton’s Get Back on Track

My name is Daniel Hernandez , and I am married to Samantha Throckmorton daughter of Mark and Larue Throckmorton.

It is with great sadness we share the devastating news that our dear parents, your family and friends, Mark and LaRue, long-standing residents of Altadena, CA, have lost their home of almost 39 years in the catastrophic Eaton fire.

They have both dedicated themselves to not only making their house in the foothills of Altadena, a home for themselves, but a home to all who have come into their lives, many of whom have enjoyed a night or two in the “south forty.”

Losing irreplaceable items, precious keepsakes, photos, handmade nostalgia from generations prior, has been profoundly heartbreaking. We are utterly grateful that they were able to get out unharmed, but the emotional and financial toll of being displaced has been overwhelming.

At this time, we humbly ask for your support to help their lives. Your kindness and generosity will help provide a glimmer of hope during this incredibly difficult time.
