Hi, my name is Anna and I'm from Ballinagore, Co. Westmeath. This summer I will be travelling overseas to volunteer with the Cork based charity, "SERVE in Solidarity". SERVE are a development and youth based organisation who aim to provide equal opportunities for poor communities living in South Africa, South-East Asia and South America.

In July, I will be travelling to Cebu in The Philippines for four weeks, working with the Badjao tribe. We will be involved in education and development projects with the community. This tribe are one of the oldest indigenous fishing tribes in the Philippines and they struggle with sourcing food, sanitation and access to education.

Any money raised will cover the cost of the project, any materials required and a donation to the community.
