Hello, my name is Scott. Sharing this is not easy for me — I’ve always been someone who worked hard and took pride in standing on my own two feet. But life has taken a painful turn, and I find myself in a place I never imagined.
After undergoing surgery on both hips, doctors discovered cancer. Since then, my health has declined, and I’m no longer able to work. Without an income or a stable place to live, I’ve ended up on the streets — something I never thought would happen. Every day is a struggle against constant pain, exhaustion, and hopelessness.
I also suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that has severely affected my speech and memory. I’m still fighting to recover, but it’s a slow, difficult road. The challenges have become overwhelming — medical bills, basic needs, and the simple wish for a roof over my head feel impossible to reach without help.
I’m embarrassed to ask, but I have no other choice. Any support — no matter how small — will help me cover essential bills, secure shelter, and focus on healing.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for caring enough to help me keep going.
