Our family is starting this fundraiser to help Amanda Patino raise funds during this very difficult time in her life.

Amanda is a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend who is currently going through a divorce with her unfaithful husband. Her divorce began in mid-December. Shortly after filing for divorce, Amanda was denied any financial help from her husband. While eight months pregnant, she was forced to move her three year old son out of their apartment. On January 27th, her second child was brought into this world. Amanda has been in postpartum recovery and unable to find gainful employment since filing for divorce.

As stated before, Amanda is not receiving any financial assistance from her husband since filing for divorce. Not a single penny has been afforded to her from him, not even for their children’s sake. Our family has been helping where they can with food and shelter. With the mounting costs of diapers, cell phone bills, healthcare costs, car repairs, and legal fees for the divorce, she is not sure what the future holds for her and her children.

While we all try to plan and save for hard times, we are seldomly prepared to fall victim to infidelity while pregnant and caring for a preschooler. If anyone can find it in themselves to help us get Amanda back on her feet and care for her children until she is able to start looking for work, it would be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: Amanda’s ex-husband has been court mandated to provide child support as of March 1st. However, there are still medical bills for which she is yet to be compensated. Legal proceedings will continue to finalize the divorce.
