Hello, my husband & I would like to share our story with you.

For your help & support as we fight for our son child Joshua, who has been recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fine Motor Delay & Sensory Processing Integration Disorder.

Joshua is our precious, sweet & loving 5 year old son, Joshua is the joy of our lives and our biggest blessing in our lives. We tried, for 4 years & at some point we just gave up. Joshua came at Gods perfect timing.

My Husband & I tried reaching out to the Regional Center in Pomona CA, a few times on several occasions. We originally considered the Regional Center but they have a waiting list & their turn around that time was not realistic for us. Joshua needed his medical & therapy treatments alot sooner. We realized it would be crucial and delay our son's needs for medical treatment for his Autism.

That's where my husband & I decided to look for another location for services & treatments at Cortica. Joshua has started his medical necessary treatments, as of January 2026 of this year.

Their turn around time was a lot quicker than the Regional Center. Our insurance does not cover some of our son's needed medical treatments & transportation, for his Autism nor his speech Ipad for his daily needs.

If needed long term medical treatment for Autism our insurance will not cover alot of his medical needs or treatments. Throughout the year. Since our Aetna insurance exceeds, only a certain amount of treatments for the year. Which is discouraging & disheartening.

My husband & I have concerns with certain behaviors that are triggered with his autism spectrum, when he's on fight or flight, the constant unsafe eloping is also a major concern for us, as well as danger safety concerns.

Joshua also needs full assistance.

I as a mom made a decision to leave my 9 to 5 job to care for our son at home & to homeschool Joshua. We are currently facing financial challenges at the moment, on just one income, we are struggling to make ends meet, paycheck to paycheck that is limiting us to get Joshua's necessities as well as medical treatments & personal autism accessories for his daily use.

Joshua's SSI benefits have been recently denied, Our 1 income family of 3 is what Social Security Administration calls "parental income deeming" & were informed that our son will not be able to qualify until he is 18yrs old or my husbands employment changed.

Joshuas benefits could have really been a huge help for his long term medical treatments for his Autism. When we heard the news it was extremely disheartening, & discouraging.

There have been times we have to cancel appointments that our son needs due to our financial crisis we are facing today.

Asking for help has been a difficult step for us to take. My husband & I truly believe that Joshua deserves the help he needs in order to thrive in life. We love him dearly. We would be immensely grateful to help us by making any donation today towards his cause everything will go to his medical treatments, we truly appreciate you.

Joshua lights up every room when he enters with his sweet, affectionate, loving nature and his contagious smile lights up the room every time. He is very kind, such a great and awesome kid. He has taught us that love doesn't need words. Joshua means the world to us he is our blessing, we love him very much.
