Help give us a hand up

Hello, my name is Elizabeth and I created this gofundme first for my son but now, also for myself. If you signed up to receive updates, you'll notice I have rewritten the entire thing as so much has changed.

For anyone new, I am an only parent of my son. He has been experiencing chronic stomach, lung and headaches to the point I had to pull him from school back in January. I have worked for myself since 2018 doing freelance work, however, it was always out of the house and in January, I had to make the decision to use the last of the money I had saved up to stay home with him.

Then, on July 5th, I suffered a seizure. At this point I am unable to drive, which means I am no longer able to work. Until I am able to install Skylink, I am also not able to accept work from home jobs as every other internet provider we have tried does not allow us high speed internet. It is imperative that I am able to do that in order to financially make it through the next 5 months (if I do not have another seizure that is).

The MRI showed degenerative disc disease and Hydromyelia, which are fancy words for pinched nerves and that the bones in my neck are deteriorating. We are trying to get insurance to approve a second MRI of my lower back where I broke my tailbone a few years ago.

Due to a generous donor we are enrolled in a 4 month intensive with a Dietary and somatic practitioner, who will be taking our hair samples. This is really amazing because we will be able to see a full 3-4 month view of our vitamins, minerals, adrenals and overall cycles to get a better idea of what's going on. This is not something offered by traditional doctors and we are SO grateful for this!

Having studied herbalism, this situation has been quite humbling to say the least.

We will get our results for this next Tuesday as will be able to get my kiddo on a diet that will *fingers crossed* correct his stomach issues. We also see Pulmonary August 13th, which will give us answers whether his lung issues are die to allergies or something else.
