Help get Racial Harmony Training to more Officers!

Here’s our story (Click on the Globe Above to Watch Video or Read the Full Story Below)

A funny thing happened on the way to a Red-Carpet Event. My name is Cat Constance, and I’m a part of a new Entertainment Company called FANHOLDER in Los Angeles, CA. this is a picture of myself, and my two main partners DT Robinson (in the center) and Ricky Ohrn at the Red-Carpet Premiere of our Company’s First Feature Film called Holocaust Money on February of 2020. It was an exciting night for us, and the Event was packed, it was a very successful Movie Premiere!!

We felt that we were top of the world that night! By the audience’s reaction, we knew we had a hit film!! The cast included a 2-time Emmy Nominee … not a bad start for a new film company! But at the same time as our Red-Carpet event the world around us was bubbling over after decades of Racial incidents involving minority communities and police officers. We were set to release our great new film to the public in late 2020 or early 2021 but… I did mention a funny thing happened on the way to a Red-Carpet event… COVID hit the entire world out of nowhere… creating a new world of shutdowns and lockdowns the world was in panic and confusion. People began to lose their jobs and businesses began closing their doors (some of them forever).

Now back to our story… with our film release now on hold – like everything else – we had to make a quick decision about what to do during covid to make sure our young Entertainment Company was not a casualty of the pandemic. We had to pivot the direction of our Company… but to what? DT Robinson (in the center of the picture) called a team meeting and suggested that during the covid pandemic we should turn our entertainment expertise towards creating a training solution that would mitigate the risk of Racially Driven Police officer incidents and move the needle forward in the areas of Racial & Social Justice…. We accepted the challenge in early 2020 and designed an innovative and highly engaging Officer Racial and Social Justice Training system – we called it RACIAL HARMONY.

Racial Harmony Officer Training brings all the key parties together, Law Enforcement, The Local Community, Political Leaders and The Press and unifies them all in a way that edifies and enriches all involved.

By mid 2020, we were on full demo mode, reaching out to Police Departments and Police Academies Nationwide – Law Enforcement professionals from Training Officers up to Police Chiefs and Police Academy Directors were “blown away” by our Racial Harmony Training and how it got officers to speak freely about Racial & Social Justice in a way they had never done before.

We’ve trained over 20 different Police Departments and Police Academies in more than 10 different States and the impact of our training on police officers was the same in all cases; our training caused Police Officers to change the way they looked at racial and social justice…. Not bad for an Entertainment Company, huh?

When an Officer changes the way they look at things, the things they look at change; which ultimately impacts how Officers perform their duties and care not only about reducing crime but also protecting residents by viewing themselves as Guardians of the Community.

So, why are we doing this? Well… let’s get back to our story, in the opening credits of our very first film Holocaust Money there is a quote that typifies what our Entertainment Company is all about… “We believe that Cinema can not only entertain people, but it can change lives” This belief allowed us to pivot in the middle of a Global Pandemic and focus on using our entertainment expertise to contribute to moving the needle forward in the areas of racial and social justice through the creation of our innovative film-based RACIAL HARMONY Officer Training. This training is important, as it changes the lives of Police Officers and members of our Community at the Core Level – it is a training that is rooted in Healing, Understanding, Restoring and Uniting.

Let me give you 6 reasons why it is important for you to personally contribute to this cause

1. You Care About Justice for Others Outside of your Own Ethnic Group

2. You Care About Healthier Interactions Between Police Officers and Citizens

3. You are Not Happy Living in a World where People are Being Mistreated Because of their Race

4. A Training that Gets Police and Community Together to Talk About Racial & Social Justice is Needed

5. You are a Person Who Believes in Building Bridges Instead of Taking Sides

6. You are a Person Who Realizes that Covid has Refocused Us on the Importance of Doing Meaningful Things and Supporting Causes that Make a Real Difference in our World

HOW MUCH CAN YOU DONATE?

You can donate any amount you like -large or small- Every Dollar helps!

What does it cost to train an Officer?

It costs about $199 US Dollars to put an Officer through a half day RACIAL HARMONY training session. Many Police Departments want to implement our training but because of shrinking and restricted budgets, they don’t have the available resources. We have started an “Adopt a Cop” program where you can contribute to the cost of the Officer Racial & Social Justice Training – whatever amount you can contribute - large or small – will help us in reaching our goal of training 5000 Police officers Nationwide in the next 12-18 months.
Father John Newns speaks about the impact of our Racial Harmony Training with St. Ann's Parishioners.

If you are truly interested in bringing greater RACIAL HARMONY to the world, here’s your chance to make a difference and change lives. Thank you for doing your part to make this a better world for us all!
