My name is Carle Evans, and I am living one of a mother’s worst nightmares. My young son was taken from me by my estranged husband and is now being kept in Denmark. Despite my endless efforts, I am being blocked at every turn—not because I lack love or the legal right to my child, but because my husband’s family wields political power and prestige in Denmark. That influence is being used to keep my son from his mother.
This is not just a family dispute—it is an international custody crisis. I have been advised that my best chance to bring my son home is to fight this battle through the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction. To do so, I urgently need to hire specialized attorneys and send them to The Hague to represent my case. These cases are costly, complex, and time-sensitive. Every day my son is kept from me is another day of trauma for both of us.
The financial strain of this legal fight is overwhelming. Court filings, international legal teams, travel, and the awareness campaign necessary to shed light on this injustice all come with enormous costs that I cannot bear alone. That is why I am humbly asking for your help.
Your support will directly fund:
- International legal representation experienced in Hague Convention cases.
- Court and filing fees to pursue custody proceedings abroad.
- Awareness efforts to bring attention to my son’s case and pressure for a just resolution.
This fight is not just about one mother and her child—it is about standing up against abuse of power, ensuring no parent loses their child simply because they lack political influence or financial resources.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to holding my son in my arms again. If you cannot give, please share this campaign widely. Together, we can raise awareness, apply pressure, and give my little boy the chance to come home where he belongs—with his mother.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for standing with me.
