I am writing this letter to you and I am very compelled to help you because if I do not collect the required amount, I may lose my father, mother, sisters and little brother.
No doubt you already have a good idea of what is happening in my city of Gaza. However, I am lucky to have a large family in Gaza: four married sisters, four unmarried sisters, my younger brother and a married brother.
Their names
Rawaa and her children, Nidaa and her children, Zainab and her children, Moatasem and her children, Ansam and her children, Amal, Aya, Raghad, Muhammad, and my beloved father is 70 years old - and my father is 57 years old - and an elderly mother. I also have 12 wonderful nieces and nephews, ages 1-15.
Although you've certainly seen glimpses of devastation on the news, it's hard to describe what you feel when you hear it and see it firsthand.
On the sound of the Israeli bombardment on October 7, 2023, we woke up and fled from our home in the Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. We have been displaced since the very moment the Israeli war on Gaza was announced, and we were unable to take anything with us. We left our home with nothing, just our bodies, without knowing that we would be displaced multiple times with nothing.
In the first displacement, my father, mother, three siblings, my brother's wife, and 3 sisters and their children went to my sister's house, but we stayed there for only one week due to intense Israeli bombardment. We had to move again to another sister's house in the central area of Gaza for another week until the black night came. At around 8 PM on October 20th, we were informed by the army to evacuate immediately and go to the street, which was only a few meters away from the towers that were going to be targeted. Within an hour, right before our eyes, the occupation forces started shelling residential towers in the Zuhur neighborhood, where fireballs were falling on the towers every half an hour or even less, depending on the mood of that soldier in his plane, throwing fireballs at the towers. This continued for more than 12 continuous hours while we were in the street praying to God to save us from death, not knowing where to go or if there was a place for us or anyone we know.
After more than 12 continuous hours in the street, we were displaced to a school in Deir al-Balah, but there was no place for us due to the overcrowding. We had to move again to the city of Khan Younis, where we stayed for more than two months, suffering from food shortage and lack of water. We could only shower once a month, and we were starving, living on only one meal a day, sometimes eating only rice to save bread for the next day when it is scarce. But the occupation, as usual, did not leave and showed no mercy, as they started shelling and launching missiles at us without any prior warning.
I would like to tell you more about my father, my mother, my sister Amal, and my older brother.
My father: a government retiree. He worked in the field of education in the Ministry of Education. He cannot afford the difficult costs of living. He paid for all of us to go to college and didn't save any money for days like this.
My mother: - She suffers from chronic diseases and skin allergies and cartilage in her back. She cannot stand on her feet for long. She has not received treatment or medicine since the beginning of the war due to the lack of medicine.
My sister Amal: She works as a journalist in Al-Quds newspaper and risks her life to convey the truth and the image to everyone. She sees many stories and tells us a lot when she returns to her home, where she returns exhausted from the suffering of the people of Gaza. https://www.instagram.com/amal.alwadiya? igsh=eGVvaGttMzFpdTJm
My older brother Moatasem: He works in food distribution and now works with foreign organizations to try to deliver some aid to needy families. As you know, some cars carrying food supplies were targeted, and my family remained worried about him from the morning until he returned home in the evening because the Israeli army was still targeting him. Trucks containing food. You can imagine my mother's daily worry that my brother would return dead or that she would hear the news that he had been targeted.
We miraculously survived death.
And here we are, returning once again to the city of Rafah, not knowing where to go. In Rafah, we suffer from hunger and water shortage. We are not only fighting the horrors of war, but also struggling against the desperate need for medical care and a safe haven. With my deteriorating health condition and the lack of essential medications in Gaza, our situation is getting worse day by day. In this urgent appeal, we implore your help to evacuate me, my father, mother, three siblings, my two brothers, and my brother's wife and their three children from Gaza to safety. We are struggling to survive and find it impossible to rebuild our shattered lives amidst the ruins of war. We are in desperate need of your assistance and compassion.
Financial breakdown for all expenses:

Medical examinations: $500 per person
Monthly living expenses: $550
I hope this message reaches you well and that you can understand the dire situation we are facing. We are in desperate need of help to meet our basic needs and ensure our safety. Your support and assistance would mean the world to us.
Warm regards,
