Hi, I'm Aimee. On 12/23/2021, I was traveling on the 710 freeway towards Long Beach when my mother noticed a white dog running towards traffic in the midst of a heavy downpour. I quickly pulled into the shoulder of the exit ramp. My mother hurried out and rescued this small dog that was sopping wet and shaking. We immediately drove home, where we then bathed and fed him. Afterwards, I left him alone for a bit so that he could decompress. But then I had a decision to make: Drop this dog off at a shelter or figure it out after the holidays?

After such a traumatic experience, I decided it was best that he stayed somewhere safe, loving, and comfortable until I can find him a new forever home.
Christmas has now passed and he is still in my care. I sense he may have suffered abuse in his previous situation as he is very timid, nervous, and anxious. He also has numerous lumps on his body, rotting teeth, and is not neutered.
With these funds, I will take him to the vet for a thorough check up. He needs a blood and urine analysis, teeth extractions, and neutering. I would also like to get his lumps biopsied, but that depends on how much is earned as biopsies can get very expensive and I'm only a full time college student.
As soon as he is healthy, I will begin searching for the perfect candidate to give him his forever home. As for now, he is in my care learning how to be a dog and finally getting to experience what real love looks and feels like.
I please ask that you donate whatever you are able to so that I may ensure this little pup receives the medical treatment and health he deserves. Anything and everything helps.
