I was brought to the U.S. from Mexico at 2 years old. My parents were living in poverty and wanted to give me a better chance at life.

I currently have DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) I renew it every 2 years and have been doing so since 2012. I have been paying to renew my DACA for over a decade but I currently have a chance to file for a U-visa becasue of a DV case, although it will take many years to get it at least there is hope for me which many of us do not get.

I am a single parent and have never been one to ask for help since I strive to do everything myself to prove it can be done.

My children give me strength. I will do anything for them even ask for help so I can say I did do everything in my power to stay with them always.

I am asking for help now to raise money for my immigration fees since I have to renew DACA while I wait for an answer from the U-visa which can take as little as 6 years to as long as 10 years.
