As we all know right now there is a full blown war going on in my home country Ukraine. We are witnising all the atrocities that are going on there. My heart is breaking as I witnes how my relatives & friends are loosing everything & running for their lives. They don’t know where to go & what to do, mostly because of financial restrain.
Out of my relatives, there is 6 families in Ukraine, I want to help the most vulnerable of my family members, my cousin Yana & her family. She is from Mariupol, the city that has been completely destroyed & leveled to the ground.

Yana & her husband Vasya & two little boys dreamed of a bright future. Just 4 months ago they spent all their savings & hard earned money & bought their first home. Their city was one of the first to be attacked, for days they hid & slept in their basement. But they knew they had to leave because they would not survive if they stayed.

It was a huge risk to leave the city because it was all surrounded & shelling was coming from all directions. But thank God they made it out Mariupol & drove west. As I spoke to Yana, I found out she is also a few months pregnant. Since their home & city is destroyed, they have no where to return to, & they have no where to look forward to. I want to do everything I can to bring her family to the US & stay with me. But there is a huge obstacle, there is no financial means for this to happen. Starting from living expenses, travel, and making passports for the kids. I know many of us have our own financial obligations & burdens, & many of my friends also have family in Ukraine who they are helping. If you can pray that God will protect Yana her husband Vasya & little Timothy & Pavel & if it is possible & you could contribute financially we will be very grateful! Thank you! May God bless you!

Below is a photo of Yanas church, where she grew up, got baptized, married Vasya & brought their children to Sunday school.
