Hey friends — it’s your friendly neighborhood coffee shop, The Washburne Café. For the past 9 years, we’ve poured our hearts (and a whole lot of coffee) into creating a joyful, welcoming space on Main Street in Springfield.

Now, thanks to an amazing opportunity with the Thurston Life Foundation, we’re opening a second Washburne location — inside the beautiful new Joyce Langelier Family Center!

This space will bring warmth, coffee, food, and connection to a new neighborhood — and we couldn’t be more excited. The Thurston Life Foundation has been incredibly generous in supporting the build-out and helping with some of the major infrastructure. Truly, we wouldn’t have gotten this far without them.

But now, we need YOUR help to cross the finish line. As you can see from some of the pictures, we still have a ways to go to make it a full-functioning Café

To be ready for our February 28th Grand Opening, we still need to purchase:

• Commercial coffee equipment

• Refrigerators and prep appliances

• Serving wares and small wares

• Finishing touches to bring the new space to life

These are the pieces that will turn an empty room into a buzzing café filled with conversation, creativity, and community.
