<div>Hey friends — it’s your friendly neighborhood coffee shop, The Washburne Café. For the past 9 years, we’ve poured our hearts (and a whole lot of coffee) into creating a joyful, welcoming space on Main Street in Springfield.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, thanks to an amazing opportunity with the Thurston Life Foundation, we’re opening a second Washburne location — inside the beautiful new Joyce Langelier Family Center!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This space will bring warmth, coffee, food, and connection to a new neighborhood — and we couldn’t be more excited. The Thurston Life Foundation has been incredibly generous in supporting the build-out and helping with some of the major infrastructure. Truly, we wouldn’t have gotten this far without them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But now, we need <strong>YOUR</strong> help to cross the finish line. As you can see from some of the pictures, we still have a ways to go to make it a full-functioning Café
</div>

<div>☕️ What We Need — And Why It Matters
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To be ready for our February 28th Grand Opening, we still need to purchase:
</div>
<div>•	Commercial coffee equipment
</div>
<div>•	Refrigerators and prep appliances
</div>
<div>•	Serving wares and small wares
</div>
<div>•	Finishing touches to bring the new space to life
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These are the pieces that will turn an empty room into a buzzing café filled with conversation, creativity, and community.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div>❤️ Why This Café Isn’t Just Ours — It’s Yours
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever sipped a latte at Washburne, shared a cinnamon roll with a friend, or laughed with one of our amazing staff — then you’ve already helped build this café.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everything good about Washburne has been possible because of this community. You’ve shown up for us through the hard seasons and helped make our Main Street café something truly special.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we’re inviting you to be part of this next chapter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether you can give $5, $5,000, or just share this campaign with your friends — every bit helps us get closer to serving joy, coffee, and connection in Thurston.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>⸻
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s Keep the Buzz Growing
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re not a franchise. We’re not backed by investors. We’re just two people (Derek and Mindy!) who care deeply about this town, this team, and this work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe in community-built spaces…
</div>
<div>If you believe good coffee and kindness should be everywhere…
</div>
<div>If you want to see Springfield keep growing in the best way possible…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then we’d be honored to have your support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s make this second location happen — together!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>
<div>— Derek &amp; Mindy
