Help Nathan Dumais and his family
Donation protected
Nathan Dumais has been out of work since the summer of 2016 due to medical issues. During that summer Nathan had not been feeling well for some time. It had gotten so severe that he was unable to tolerate physical exertion. So with encouragement from his very concerned wife, he sought his primary doctor for testing. After going through a battery of testing, a brain aneurysm was discovered.
He was treated emergently for an un-ruptured cerebral aneurysm located at the acom communicating artery. The surgeon performed a craniotomy, and placed a clip to occlude it from filling.
A month after this major surgery it was found that the aneurysm was incompletely clipped, and a residual was confirmed. Nathan was not protected from a rupture.
He then underwent another procedure. A cerebral angiogram for embolization was performed to place a stent at the base of the aneurysm to properly occlude the filling any further.

He now has affects from the craniotomy, and also has some mental deficits that effect his cognition, short term memory, and speech. He suffers from chronic headache, ringing in the ears, mental and physical fatigue. Included are the symptoms he originally presented to the doctor with of inability to tolerate exertion, and physical labor.
His neuro surgeon and neurologist have agreed that there may be something else going on, as Nathan still has other symptoms that don't relate to the aneurysm that have not been identified.
He is currently being worked up with a cardiologist and is in the process of having testing done.
Nathan is a self-employed carpenter who is the sole provider of his family of 6. We're looking for support to help with the bills, put food on the table, and any other necessities they may need as they go through this stressful period in their lives.
Nathan has given so much to everyone over the years, that we want to be able to give back to him.
