We are reaching out with humble hearts, asking for support for our sister, Miriam (38), who was recently diagnosed with uterine cancer. A few months ago, Miriam started experiencing intense pain in her lower abdomen. At first, she pushed through it, focused on her day-to-day life, pouring her heart into her work and caring for her family. But the pain only got worse, eventually becoming so severe that she could barely stand up from a chair without unbearable discomfort.

On December 5, 2025, Miriam went to the ER, where scans confirmed that she had uterine cancer. Just a few weeks later, on December 22, 2025, she underwent major surgery to remove several masses. She spent the holidays at the hospital recovering, unable to be with her children and husband during this special time.

This unexpected diagnosis has turned her family’s world upside down. Miriam is the heart and soul of her family, raising four young children under the age of ten alongside her husband. The emotional, physical, and financial strain has been overwhelming. With the surgery and recovery, Miriam has been unable to work, amplifying the financial strain the diagnosis has had on them.

Those who know Miriam can attest to her incredible strength, kindness, and love she pours into her family. Even in the face of this battle, her courage continues to inspire all of us. However, the road ahead is uncertain, and Miriam will need additional surgery and chemotherapy in the coming months.

While we are doing everything we can to support her, the financial burdens, medical bills, travel for treatment, and loss of income are adding stress to an already difficult situation.

Nos estamos acercando con corazones humildes, pidiendo apoyo para nuestra hermana Miriam (38), quien fue recientemente diagnosticada con cáncer de útero. Hace unos meses, Miriam comenzó a experimentar un dolor intenso en la parte baja de su abdomen. Al principio, lo ignoró, enfocándose en su vida cotidiana, las responsabilidades de su trabajo y al cuidado de su familia. Sin embargo, el dolor empeoró, hasta que llegó a ser tan fuerte que apenas podía levantarse de una silla sin un dolor insoportable.

El 5 de diciembre de 2025, Miriam fue al hospital, donde las pruebas confirmaron que tenía cáncer de útero. Solo unas semanas después, el 22 de diciembre de 2025, se sometió a una cirugía mayor para remover varios tumores. Pasó el día de navidad y año nuevo en el hospital recuperándose, sin poder estar con sus hijos y su esposo en este tiempo tan especial.

Este diagnóstico inesperado ha dado un giro radical a la vida de su familia. Miriam es el corazón y alma de su hogar, criando a cuatro hijos pequeños menores de diez años junto a su esposo. La carga emocional, física y financiera ha sido abrumadora. Con la cirugía y la recuperación, Miriam no ha podido trabajar, lo que ha aumentado la presión financiera que esta enfermedad ha generado en su familia.

Quienes conocen a Miriam pueden dar fe de su increíble fortaleza, amabilidad y el amor que siempre da a su familia. Incluso frente a esta difícil batalla, su valentía sigue inspirándonos a todos. Sin embargo, el camino por delante sigue siendo incierto, y Miriam necesitará una cirugía adicional y quimioterapia en los próximos meses.
