This year, instead of birthday gifts, I’m hoping to help save a life.
I'm raising funds for Shewaye Beyazen Terefe, a dear family friend in Ethiopia who is battling end-stage renal disease. She urgently needs dialysis to survive, but with no income or insurance, the $500 monthly cost is out of reach.
Shewaye is on a long waitlist for government care. Until then, private dialysis is her only chance and she needs our help to hold on.
