Hi , My name is Kaitlyn, my family and friends have created this page in the hope of giving me every possible chance to survive. This page was created so that if there is a treatment, a specialist or an opportunity that could give me more time or a better chance, we are able to say yes. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia when I was 16, I've undergone intense chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. I am intermediate risk with 2 gene mutations present within my Bone marrow. I now have leukaemia in my Central nervous system which has caused me to go blind.

A note from Mum : Following our last appointment it became apparent to us that some of the treatments which could offer hope are either not funded or may only be available privately.

We are also actively exploring private specialist opinions and assessments so that no stone is left unturned in the search for options that could help our beautiful girl. A stem cell transplant alone can cost around £150,000. While we don't yet know what every potential treatment or clinical trial may involve financially, we do know that we cannot face those costs alone. We refuse to look back one day and wonder if there was something more we could have done.

Every pound donated will go towards accessing treatment, specialist opinions, assessments and any associated costs that could help us fight for Kaitlyn's future.
