I’m Josh. For those that don’t know me, I’m a small business owner and father of a beautiful 6 year old girl. She is the love of my life and I would do anything for her. I’m starting this GoFundMe because I need to raise money for an attorney to get a fair parenting plan in place that will help ensure that she grows up happy and healthy with access to both of her parents. I am already separated from her by distance and don’t want to continue to be further separated by not having a solid, legally binding, plan in place.

 

It is very difficult for me to ask for help. As someone that has always been a very hard worker, self-sufficient, and careful and cautious with my finances, not being able to find a way to make this happen alone is a struggle. I am a man of faith and I am trying to see the good in all of this and keep trying to move forward. Remember when I said I’d do anything for my daughter? In this case it means I’m going to have to ask for help.

 

I am the owner of a lawn care business and this is our slow season. Unfortunately, due to a series of legal setbacks with this case, the need for new representation has arose and couldn’t have come during a worse part of the year for me. I have spent all that I had trying to fight for her and my rights, and I’m nowhere near the end of it.

 

I am most definitely not trying to take her from her mother or anything drastic at this time, I’m simply trying to be in my daughter’s life. I want her to see that I never gave up and did all that I could to make it happen. I want to feel confident that she is safe, loved, and cared for regardless of who she is with and that her Daddy always keeps his promises. When I tell her I am coming to see her, I’m coming to see her and no one can change their mind and not allow it. I want consistency and continuity and stability for her.
