Jorge Castro is a loving husband, devoted father to two beautiful young daughters, and a hardworking member of our community. Those who know Jorge know him as a caring, selfless, and dedicated person who has always put his family first.

Jorge has called the United States home for many years. As a former DACA recipient and work permit holder, he has worked hard to provide for his family and pursue every legal avenue available to build a stable future for his wife and daughters.

Earlier this year, Jorge was detained by ICE during a scheduled immigration appointment and separated from his family. After a difficult and emotional period, we are incredibly grateful to share that Jorge has been released on bond and is now back home with his wife and daughters.

While this is a major blessing and an important step forward, Jorge’s immigration journey is far from over. His case remains active, and he continues to face an uncertain legal process. He must continue working with immigration attorneys and attending legal proceedings as he fights for the opportunity to remain with his family.
