On August 20th, 2021, the Dixie Fire blew through my farm with 40-mile an hour gusts. It didn’t matter how much limbing, raking and burning we had done because we were the only place in Genesee that did not get fire retardant, fire hoses, a bladder, and a fire truck.

What we need:

01. We need help to dig trenches and lay lines to bring water back in.

02. We need help rebuilding the campgrounds with a trailer, 2 outhouses with composting toilets, and a bathhouse with grey water. 

We had been setting-up to take people who were returning to Greenville, or the crews we need to rebuild Greenville, and we can do it with very little work.

03. We need help building a truss above the conex trailers so that my crew of friends, and I, have a place to mill wood for Greenville’s rebuild.

4. We need help setting-up the additional greenhouses and planting the winter gardens so that our community has fresh food.

05. We need help replacing about 10,000 linear feet our perimeter fencing to protect the farm.

In exchange for every $3,000 that is donated by a single individual/or couple, that individual (maximum 2-couples/4-individuals) are invited to park a single solar trailer, with a composting toilet, (or a single camp/tent (maximum 4-people)) at the farm, for a month, and will be provided fresh seasonal harvest, daily - for that month.

In exchange for every $200 that is donated, by a single individual/or couple, that individual (maximum 1-couple, or 2-individuals) is invited to park a single solar trailer, with a composting toilet, (or a single camp site/tent (maximum 2-people)) at the farm, for a week, and will be provided fresh seasonal harvest, daily - for that week.

* No hook-ups are provided, we are off-grid.

* Check-in time after 11:00am and before 4:00pm. 

* Check-out time by 10:00am.

* Please pre-check dates. Dates are dependent on availability, we are limited on how many people we can accommodate at a single time.

Education Exchange

For every hundred dollars donated, 2-people are entitled, for free, to attend any of the classes related to health, sustainability, gardening, permaculture, or any other classes that we teach.
