Support Binod’s Family After His Tragic Loss

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Binod Maharjan, a young artist from Patan who tragically lost his life from a gunshot during the Gen Z protest in Nepal. He lost his life for Nepal, standing with his generation in hopes of a better future. Despite his struggles, he carried the responsibility of caring for his elderly mother, and now his family is left heartbroken. It has already been seven days since his death, but his body has not yet been brought home. In Newar culture, the 7th day is a sacred day of remembrance, and his family was unable to perform the rituals, adding even more pain to their grief. My name is Manjil Dangol, and I am from Patan, Nepal—the hometown of the deceased. I am a close friend and relative of the deceased, and I am organizing this fundraiser to help his family during this difficult time. The funds raised will go directly to supporting his elderly mother and family as they navigate this tragic loss.
