Our sweet Bianca, only 8 years old, is in the fight of her life. At just 2 years old, she was diagnosed with an extremely rare and often life-threatening disease called Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA). While many people think of arthritis as joint pain, SJIA is far more aggressive—capable of attacking multiple organs and causing dangerous inflammation throughout the body.
Since her diagnosis, Bianca has been hospitalized every single year. But this time… things are different. Things are far more frightening.
Bianca is currently at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the ICU, battling one of the most severe and complex cases doctors here have ever encountered. Her disease has begun attacking her lungs, liver, and spleen. Her medical team has even reached out to specialists around the world for guidance because her case is so rare, unpredictable, and aggressive.
Right now, doctors are urgently considering a bone marrow transplant—a major and risky procedure, but one that may give Bianca a chance at a more stable future. Despite everything, our brave girl continues to fight through immense pain and uncertainty with a strength far beyond her years.
And by her side every single day is her mother, Derrica.
Derrica has not left her daughter’s side through any of the long hospital stays, sleepless nights, or terrifying updates. She has been forced to step away from full-time work to care for Bianca, which has placed an enormous financial strain on her—especially while navigating medical bills, transportation, meals, and the emotional weight of watching her child suffer.
We are asking for your support.
Your donation—no matter how big or small—will directly help with:
• Medical and hospital-related expenses
• Support for Derrica as she remains in the hospital with Bianca
• Travel, meals, and daily necessities during long ICU stays
• Preparing for a potential bone marrow transplant and recovery
• Helping this mother stay by her child’s side without the added burden of financial stress
Bianca deserves a chance to heal. She deserves a childhood where she can play, laugh, go to school, and live without constant pain. And Derrica deserves the support of a community while she does everything in her power to care for her precious daughter.
If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser and keep Bianca in your prayers. We are believing for complete healing, renewed strength, and better news in the days ahead.
Thank you for caring. Thank you for standing with them. Bianca is fighting for her life—and with your help, she won’t fight alone. ✨
