Betty was stolen from us on October the 12th 2025, her last known location was pinged in Surrey - Cheltenham/Coulsdon.

We had put her up for rehoming as she was young and we had too much on our plates with baby, a disabled adult, and an old GSD whose body was failing and shutting down. We had our time wasted and vetted people for days before a family came up and took advantage of our situation, promised the world and then ended up being scammers.

The family that promised to update us daily on how she was doing and pay us the asking price, but ended up taking Betty and despite there being a contract stating they will pay, they have cut all communication and we have received nothing, not a single update or payment from them.

The police were notified, her microchip is marked as stolen, and we've called all the vets in that area to notify them of the situation as well and ask them to keep an eye out, and spread awareness on social media as well.

The scammers have also given us the previous address they lived at as that was what was on their ID they showed me, and a poor woman with her 1 year old now recieve random strangers asking about the scammers that took Betty and for the debts to be paid up, putting her and her little one at unease and harm as the scammers are actively committing crime and sending people to that address, she has also called the cops and reported it.

This amount is to help raise funds to see Betty back home safely as we are a small family that are going through a rough time. We have made the mistake to put Betty through this and will never do so again, if returned to us she will remain with us for the rest of her days, but it's becoming more and more hopeless as the days pass with no help or updates.
