Hi all, this is Belinda. 

As most of you don't know...lol...I started teaching first and second grade last year, at a small private school in East Nashville.

Let's go back... Since Covid 2020, I have been struggling to get my Producing/Editing/Directing business back on its feet. It has been a difficult few years, but God is always faithful. I started creating Art, and sold a few pieces, but it had to take a back seat once I began teaching.

Last July, I was offered a teaching position. Teaching 1st and 2nd Grade. It was a beautiful year, an extremely hard transition, but still a beautiful year with a beautiful class. This transition has exacerbated my current financial struggle, but it is so meaningful, I believe it's worth it. As the saying goes, "It takes a village" to raise a child. And while I am not the parent, I am part of the village, and I'm praying my village would join me by giving financially to get me through the summer and back on. my feet...any amount is helpful. My school does not pay during the summer months, and finding part-time work it very difficult as I am finding out. I was hoping to work at the Grand Ol' Opry, giving tours, and at the Y so I could work out for free! But I did not get either of those jobs. I am Nannying, dog sitting, babysitting, cleaning Airbnb's, whatever comes my way. But as you can imagine, it is not enough to cover the cost of living in Nashville, especially when you're already behind...I am just in a season of Help! As the Beatles so beautifully put it.

Any money received will go towards bills, rent, food, general expenses, debt. Life.

Humility is a gift. Pride is a dark and unforgiving friend.
