Help Angel and Family rebuild home!
Donation protected

My wife served in the Army, and has been a stay at home mom after our first born son, also named Angel, was born.
He was born at 28 weeks, and weighed 2.1 lbs.
Shortly after his birth, he was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebal Palsy, and has required 24/7 care
since then.

Angel is now 15 years old. He has 2 sisters,
Breanna (11) and Isabella (5), and 1 brother, Ian (4)
He’s had a very difficult life, with many surgeries and hospital stays. He’s wheelchair bound. Pronounced legally blind, (although we think he may have a blurry vision of movement),
has chronic lung disease, and struggles with chronic pain, along with other health issues. He is medically very fragile, to say the least !
We are a single income family.
We are trying to raise money to buy a (used) wheelchair accessible van, since Angel has outgrown our current car and car seat, and is adult size. It has been difficult to maneuver him from his wheelchair into the car for appointments, etc., as he has grown into a young adult. It’s also more difficult at home, to handle the daily activities, such as showering, as he has grown.
Despite all of his health issues, he seems to love life, and manages to smile and laugh a lot when he is feeling good !!!
He is very social, and enjoys being around his caring and active family, as best he can. Everyone that meets him seems to be impacted by his joy, many smiles, and laughter, under his condition.

We would be forever grateful to whoever finds it in their heart, to help make the dream of a special van for Angel possible. It would make it so much easier to transport him to appointments, and to get out and enjoy some time (out of the hospital) with his family.

Also, our home suffered major water damage from this year’s freeze in Texas. We are still trying to recover from all the damage. The needed major repair and replacement costs have been overwhelming, and an additional financial drain on our family.

Thank you to those that can help us meet our goal, and make the dream of a much needed wheelchair accessible van (used) possible for our beautiful, brave, and ‘smily’ boy.
Thank you. Blessings, Angel and Norma
¡Gracias!
