In March, I have been invited to join HearAide Toledo on a mission trip to provide hearing care to children in four refugee camps throughout the West Bank. HearAide is very special to me as my aunt, Dr. Randa Mansour-Shousher, helped to establish the non profit with a goal to restore hearing and provide opportunities to those less fortunate.

 

I am currently a senior at New Albany High School and chose to take this trip as part of my Senior Seminar project. For this project, I set a goal to raise $5,000 to help fund the care in the clinics. Both my dad and sister have made this journey and I am excited to continue the tradition of giving back. I would be grateful for any support as we help to give these children an opportunity to hear and continue this “circle of care!”
