Hi, my name is Millie and I am doing a skydive in Sydney raising funds to support people and families affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and to help move science forward.
From a young age, I watched my mum slowly fade away from Huntington’s disease. As a teenager, I was forced to confront a terrifying question — what does my own future look like? For a long time, with the science available then, the outlook felt hopeless. But that’s not the case anymore. Research is advancing, treatments are improving, and for the first time, there is real hope.
This cause is deeply personal to me. No family should have to face HD without support, answers, or hope. Every donation helps fund research, improve care, and provide vital support services for families like mine — and for others who are still fighting this disease every day.
Your donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. It helps ensure that people affected by Huntington’s disease are not alone and that the future looks brighter than the one I once feared. Thank you for supporting this cause and for being part of the fight against HD.
