A Mission of Service and Hope
Hi, I’m Harry Dennis. I’m a father of three and a member of Sea Change (formerly La Jolla Christian Fellowship). I’m currently in Tanzania, staying at a safe house near Mount Kilimanjaro where 19 rescued children now live in peace, safety, and structure.
These children come from difficult pasts, but here they are part of a family. They work together, learn together, and care for each other. Every day starts at sunrise, feeding animals, helping on the farm, and preparing meals. It’s a simple life, but it’s healthy, disciplined, and full of purpose.
Since many of the kids don’t know their exact birthdays, the home celebrates one big birthday each year—so every child is honored and loved. Their food comes straight from the land, and because it’s all fresh and organic, even their teeth are in great shape. They not only eat healthy, they help create their meals through hard work and care.
There are no screens. No distractions. Just structure, joy, and healing. We’re currently building a church and a playground to give them even more space to grow.
I’m here in partnership with The Graceful Warrior Project, an amazing faith-based group helping empower children through dignity, education, and love.
If you feel moved to support this mission through donations, prayers, or simply sharing, I would be truly grateful. These kids are full of life and hope, and it’s a gift to be here with them.
Thank you,
Harry Dennis
