BDM's Headed To The Peak District Hills
HSBC's UK Markets & Securities Services Business Development Team are delighted to leave their natural desk bound habitat and venture out into the Peak District to take on the Hills of Edale and raise funds for Parkinson's UK, an amazing charity that has played a huge part in one of our team members lives for the last 20 years.
The Challenge - Saturday September 14th 2024
The Hills of Edale certainly are no walk in the park; the walk has everything, whopping hills, footpaths, rocky tracks and man-eating bogs as well as some of the most spectacular views of the Peak District. From the lifelike gritstone boulders of the Woolpacks on the Kinder Plateau and the panoramic views from Win Hill to the expanse of the Hope Valley from Mam Tor, the team are certainly in for a challenge. With around 30km of walking and several 1,000 feet of ascent we expect to complete the challenge in around 10 hours (heavily dependent on map reading skills).
We have chosen to support Parkinson's UK and wish to thank Tony for this nomination whose father lived with condition for over 20 years before sadly passing recently.
