As many of you know, I work closely with individuals who are struggling with addiction. Recently, I met a young man who was living on the streets and asked for help. We were able to get him into treatment, and I’m grateful to share that he has done the work and is successfully completing his program this Sunday.

Unfortunately, when treatment ends, he has nowhere to go—and without support, he will end up right back on the streets.

I want to do everything I can to give him a real chance at recovery. I’ve been where he is. I know firsthand that if people hadn’t stepped in to give me a safe place to live while I rebuilt my life, I likely wouldn’t be here today.

We’ve found an affordable sober living home called Valor House and are working to raise funds to cover his rent and basic necessities (toiletries, essentials, etc.) while he looks for employment and continues building stability. All funds will go directly to Valor House and not the individual.

If you’ve ever struggled with addiction yourself—or loved someone who has—I hope you’ll consider helping give this young man a chance to change his life.
