Hi everyone!

In January 2026, I’ll be travelling to Uganda for two weeks with two leaders from my church to serve with HALMA UK a Christian charity that partners with a local team on the ground in Uganda to support vulnerable children and young people.

HALMA UK helps children reach their God-given potential by breaking the cycle of poverty through education, vocational training, pastoral care, and spiritual guidance. They run a child sponsorship programme, provide food parcels and medical care when needed, and work to bring long-term transformation to families and communities in the Mubende District of central Uganda.

While we’re there, we’ll be running children’s camps filled with fun, creativity, and faith—giving the kids a chance to learn, grow, and experience new things. We are aiming to have 900 children attending the camps. It costs £4 for each child to have a healthy meal and enjoy a treat. 

To help raise funds for the trip and for the children we’ll be working with, I’m starting by climbing Snowdon this Saturday, and I’ll be doing more fundraising events along the way.

I also sponsor a child called Joshua, who’s part of HALMA’s education programme. Seeing how much of a difference this charity makes in his life has inspired me to go and be part of that impact in person.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards supporting the children and helping us make this mission possible.
