Water + Aid For Flint Seniors

Hello, I'm J.J. McQueen the owner of Goal Line Media Productions, a photo-video production company based out of Joppa, Maryland. Over the past 15 years my collegues and I have covered numerous social and civil-rights stories. Often times in the production of those stories, we're unable to connect with the people associated with them due to our career obligations.
After weeks of endless study and conversations, we've decided that we need to change the narrative. We along with many others would like the opportunity to join in helping contribute to the hidden treasures of the Flint community. Those treasures are Flint's senior citizens.
We've found in our story research that Flint has a large number of seniors that have little to no means of [additional] financial support during this time of the water crisis. The Flint water crisis has been an important reminder that we're people first. So please help us achieve our goal in assisting the seniors of Flint, while we continue to keep the images and the spirit of Flint alive by capturing stories of triumph.
In sync with our normal working space, we will be documenting our journey through photos and film. We want all of you to witness the lives that we've worked together to touch.
Our goal is to raise $5,000, but we hope we exceed this goal.
Funds will be appropriated in the following manner:
§ Assisting with water bills
§ Medical expenses associated with water contamination
§ Water filters
§ Bottled water

DATES: Target date for our first round of contributions will be March 19 & 20, 2016.
