Hi Everyone
My name is Jeannie Marie-Jewell, Former Minister of Social Services with the Government of the NWT.
As a former Child of Foster Care I strongly feel compassionate to help Gramma Ann Russell to work through the Courts to get her Beautiful Sweet Granddaughter Marlowe back home to her Gramma.
This sweet child was living with her Gramma and due to an oversight of not submitting a Criminal records check form, (which believe me, her gramma worked for the RCMP and does not have a Criminal Record). The child was abruptly taken from a Day Care Home and placed in a Foster Home where only visitation is allowed.
Once visitation is over, the poor child cries profusely when she has to leave her Gramma.
Child Services is making it so difficult for her Granddaughter to be taken out of a Foster Home and returned to her Grandmother who loves her to bits.
Marlowe is an indigenous child abruptly taken from her indigenous Family and immediately placed with Strangers. How traumatizing for Marlowe and her Family. In this Era of Reconciliation this type of treatment should NEVER exist.
Please find it in your heart to help her Gramma retain Legal Council so she can get the Courts to order Child Services in Alberta to return her Granddaughter back to her home where she is Loved.
Thank you so much and if you cannot donate, please say a Prayer for Marlowe to return to her loving Grandmother Ann
