My brother Ross has motor neurone disease. It's heartbreaking to see someone you love go through this. My hope is for him to have as many good days as possible with his beautiful family.
This is a message from Lisa, his wife: 'Ross is amazing. He's a true family man, and would help anyone if he could. He has lived a reasonably healthy life and for his efforts is currently dying at only 42, but in a way that takes everything from you slowly, like a very slow car crash but you know how it's going to end but unsure when.
He'd like to have more family days, holidays and times with his daughter. He needs to do as much as he can in the small amount of time he has left'.
'As my wife said, I am being killed by a horrible disease but don't know when it will happen, some things have deteriorated a lot faster than I would have expected. But I am still here, still fighting and desperate to give my 5 year old daughter as many amazing memories as we can. Right now I am able to go out and do things that she wants to do, but I am constantly losing function and might not have much time to keep doing that. If you can spare a few quid, please do, we would be really grateful'.
We'd be extremely grateful for anything you can contribute. All funds will go toward creating memories. Many many thanks from us all.
